Where to Find Live Music in Collingwood This Summer

If you’re looking for live music in Collingwood this summer, you definitely have a few options — both on land and on the water. Of course, you can go the usual route and make a night of it at a restaurant, bar, or brewery. Or you can switch things up a bit and see how it sounds out on a boat.

Depending on what kind of night you’re after, here are a few spots to enjoy live bands and artists in Collingwood.

Collingwood Charters

Live music is a regular part of summer at Collingwood Charters, with cruises aboard the Huronic featuring everything from local musicians and bands to tribute acts, depending on the night. You can even get in on the action yourself with our Local Jam Night, which gives local artists a chance to perform original music or get in front of a crowd for the first time.

So, there’s a little something for everyone here. Some nights are built around upcoming talent, while others lean into more familiar, sing-along kind of sets. In fact, some of our most popular music cruises have featured tribute bands covering artists like The Tragically Hip, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, and Bon Jovi.

And if you prefer dinner with a show, we’ve got you covered there, too. We also offer dinner cruises featuring both local caterers and live music, making it perfect for date night. It’s a nice option for anyone who wants live music in Collingwood to feel a little more like a summer evening out.

Harbour Street Fish Bar

Harbour Street Fish Bar is another good option when you want live music to feel like part of a proper night out, not just something you happen to catch while you’re out for a drink. Live music is a regular thing there, with performances happening multiple days a week.

The lineup has a fair bit of range, too. Their event listings feature everything from classic rock, funk, and blues to folk, jazz, country, R&B, soul, pop, disco, and dance-party style bands, so you’re not necessarily going to get the same thing every time you go.

Since it is a restaurant, this one makes the most sense when a restaurant is a key part of the plan, and you want the music to carry the rest of the evening.

TapsAndTunes

TapsAndTunes is a good fit if you want something a little more casual. It’s got food, drinks, and a dance floor, with some kind of entertainment on tap just about every night of the week. Live music is definitely a part of the regular mix, along with open mic nights, DJ sets, comedy, and other weekly events.

The variety of events and drink menu gives it a different kind of energy than some of the other spots on this list. You can show up for a signature cocktail or craft beer, catch a set, and keep the night moving without needing to lock in formal plans.

The Collingwood Brewery

Speaking of drinks, the Collingwood Brewery is a solid choice if a brewery is more your speed. Live music is already part of the weekly rhythm there, with both scheduled artists and open mic performances in the mix.

And the brewery setup makes it easy to work into a summer afternoon or early evening get-together. You can stop in for a pint, catch whoever’s playing, and keep things pretty relaxed. Their taproom and patio setup fit that kind of plan well.

Ready to Experience Live Music on the Water in Collingwood?

Beyond these venues, you’ll also find outdoor concerts and special events around town all summer long, so you’ve got lots of land options. But if you’d prefer to spend your summer evening taking in live music on the water, we’d be happy to have you aboard at Collingwood Charters!

Check out our events calendar to see what’s playing and book your spot on one of our upcoming live music cruises today.
